Bumkins Diaper 3 Pack Cover Bundle Review

Bumkins Diaper 3 Pack Cover Bundle

After trying several types and brands of diaper covers, these worked the best for me - thin enough to not add bulk but thick enough to do the job. Cute patterns as well, really fun and easy to care for. The bag is a lifesaver.

Knickernappies Doorknob Diaper Pail Review

Knickernappies Doorknob Diaper Pail
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The snaps that are supposed to go above the door knob already gave out under the weight of one child's couple days worth of diapers. But I have figured out how to snap it a different way so the outer snaps are above the door and bear the weight. Overall it isn't a bad product...but it could be a bit sturdier for it's purpose...if the other snaps fail I'll just use it in a pail.

Planet Wise MINI Wet/Dry Bag Review

Planet Wise MINI Wet/Dry Bag

I really love this mini bag. I use it for cloth diapering on the go. I will caution that it is a mini bag and I can only get it one to two inserts in it. I also use it for my monthly needs. It works perfectly for holding and containing any wetness or smells.

Planet Wise Diaper Pail Liner Review

Planet Wise Diaper Pail Liner
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This pail liner is waterproof AND eco-friendly. (no vinyl) You know a bag is waterproof when you take it out of the wash and it has water trapped inside of it! It fits nicely in my pail. The elastic around the top keeps the bag snug in my diaper pail. You can find this bag on a very popular auction wesite for $16.50 with free shipping. It also comes in a variety of colors. The only negative about it is that it takes a full day to hang dry. I love this bag so much that I bought another one to use while the wet one is drying. I highly recommend this bag for all of your cloth diapering needs!
PROS:
1-eco friendly
2-waterproof
3-snug fit into a diaper pail (thick elastic)
4-variety of colors available
5-inexpensive
CONS:
1-takes a full day to hang dry. (you will need 2)
2-not a draw string or zipper top. so, this is strictly for the diaper pail.
You will not be disappointed!

12pack FuzziBunz Perfect Size Diapers - GIRL Colors SMALL Review

12pack FuzziBunz Perfect Size Diapers - GIRL Colors SMALL
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These diapers worked great when my daughter was a new born. Then, they started leaking like crazy overnight when she started sleeping longer (about 8 hours)! Even with two inserts stuffed in them, which are then super bulkey, which makes me worry about hip issues because she can't even close her legs properly. So, I emailed Fuzzibunz, and they sent me a totally new load- which now leak even worse, even during the day. The issue is, they changed the manufacturing of their fleece on the inside of the diaper. It doesn't wisk liquid away from the baby, the liquid sits on the diaper, and leaks out the sides/back. These are terrible. The company must not have done much testing on their new fleece. The old Fuzzibunz were ALRIGHT, but again... Still leaking issues. We were using a very gentile eco-friendly detergent and following all of their laundering suggestions. We recently went out and bought two different cloth diapers, which work MUCH better- NO LEAKS!! The one she slept in last night was Happy Hineys. She slept for 8 hours straight in this diaper and didn't leak at all! I was thrilled not to have to change all of her bedding and clothes at 3:30 in the morning for the first time in months! It was great. Then we had her in Bumgenis, which she slept in from 4-8 with no leaks... I highly recommend trying those two before you decide to waste your money on leaky diapers. These are the worst!

Planet Wise Hanging Diaper Wet/Dry Bag Review

Planet Wise Hanging Diaper Wet/Dry Bag
Average Reviews:

I was the kind of mom-in-training before my 1st was born that hadn't even considered cloth diapers until hearing how friends of ours had done research about the cost difference. Yes, cloth is an investment, but SO WORTH it!! I wish I had come across these bags when I first started using the diapers since they are so much better about holding the smell in than using plastic grocery bags in a foot pedal trash can...not to mention so much more eco friendly. I toss this bag in with the diapers to wash it and dry it and it works great. The smell isn't completely unnoticeable (especially since my son's diapers are some of the worst I've ever smelled - working in childcare for 17 years, I've smelled quite a few), but the smell is A LOT less than it was. Thanks goodness! The size is great too since they hold everything we use up in a day, including the cloth wipes.

Bummis Fabulous Organic Wet Diaper Bag Review

Bummis Fabulous Organic Wet Diaper Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
A lot of people rave about the P******** wet bags, but I prefer these hands down. I'm selling my other so I can buy another of the Bummis. There are a couple of reasons I like it:
1) The price is very reasonable
2) Washes very well and dries fantastic
3) The handle is very convenient to attach to the stroller or diaper bag when we're out and about.

Planet Wise Wet/Dry Diaper Bag Review

Planet Wise Wet/Dry Diaper Bag
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have a Planet Wise Hanging Wet/Dry bag, a medium Wet Bag and a large Wet Bag. These bags have been a god-send for us. My second baby is a super duper heavy wetter, and has very strong smelling urine which I never experienced with my first baby. I started with a medium wetbag for our car and when we take trips. It was so effective at keeping odors contained, and keeping wet diapers from wicking into my diaper bag that I bought the hanging wet/dry bag and got rid of my diaper pail all together. This has worked out really well when we travel, because now I have a 'diaper pail' that folds down as small as a t-shirt in a suitcase or travel bag. I recently purchased the large wetbag to use as a dirty clothes hamper when we go on vacation. The beautiful selection of prints is a bonus, as I honestly didn't expect the outer printed fabric to hold up well; but I have to say it has been very durable. I wash and tumble dry 2 out of the 3 bags about once a week (with my regular laundry) - so far the fabric has no visible signs of fading or wear, and the inner fabric is just as water tight as it was when I first bought them. My oldest bag has been in the rotation for 10 months and so far, so GREAT!

Lula Changing Pad - Orange Review

Lula Changing Pad - Orange

Why didn't I discover this earlier?! It's a MUST HAVE product! I use it at the public changing stations, in the house, in the car, in restaurants, sometimes, even in random places when in a rush!! It's also great to use as a mat for the baby to sit on in public places if you are unsure of cleanliness. :-) Leave the diaper bag if you are going for a quick run somewhere. It has four pockets to place your essentials!!

I bought two of these before my baby girl was born and prepped them thoroughly (5+ washes). I've only used them about three times, but they've leaked every time within about a half hour. Waste.

Bumkins Diaper 3 Pack Bundle Review

Bumkins Diaper 3 Pack Bundle
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These are one of the easiest to use cloth diapers. They close just like a disposable diaper so are easy for those new to cloth diapering or for babysitters. They offer a very trim fit compared to many other cloth diapers.
These are all-in-one diapers so they do not need a separate cover. I usually use fitted diapers and covers at home but like to keep a few all-in-ones (AIO) like these for quick changes on the go. They are also great for days when she doesn't want to hold still for a diaper change.
I just bought some more for my 8 month old girl- she is wearing a medium with still lots of room to grow. I also used Bumkins AIO with my older son. We used them almost exclusively once he was a toddler. I could even change him standing up.
I never tried them on newborn. I think separate fitteds and covers are usually better for containing runny newborn poop. I started using them both times about 6 months of age and never had any leakage problems. (my favorite newborn combo was Kissaluvs 0 fitted with an xs Thirsties cover)
I also don't use them at night because I prefer to use a thicker diaper.
Its easy to use a doubler with these if you need to add absorbancy. You can either just lay it inside or tuck it under the flap.
If they look stained an hour outside in the sun usually takes the stain right out.
I like having natural cotton against the babies skin. My son used to get rashes from diapers with fleece liners.
I don't think there is one perfect diaper for everybody. These get a lot of use here, but I still also love my fitteds and covers.
If money/budget was a concern my diapering choice would be a good quality prefold inside a Thirsties cover. (You can even just lay it inside the cover)
