(More customer reviews)I got this dispenser because I always carry diaper disposing bags in my diaper bag, but they always end up wadded up in a side pocket, or in the bottom of the diaper bag and not very handy.
This product is a great idea, but if you intend to use the ring to attach it to your diaper bag, be careful. The little gap you slide the strap into is very wide. My strap can easily fit back through the plastic ring just while I am carrying the bag around. I nearly lost the dispenser several times and finally gave up and just keep the dispenser inside the diaper bag.
It is still handy to have, and I am very happy with it, but disappointed that it can't be hung on the strap for easiest access.

I keep a stash of them in my diaper bag and another handful are tucked away in my car. Because, let's face it: dirty diapers STINK, and nobody wants to breathe in that smell a moment longer than necessary during diaper changes. When you're on the go and have to change your little one's diaper some place that doesn't have a garbage can nearby - like, say, in your car - these little bags are SO HELPFUL. They're made to hold in that stink so it doesn't fill the room (or the car, or your diaper bag, or the great outdoors), and thankfully, they succeed!
Just tie that smelly diaper up in one of the bags and set it aside until you can get it into a trash can. They won't contain the smell forever, but you're not likely to hang onto a dirty diaper for too long anyway!
When our fancy diaper pail stopped working and began smelling truly awful whenever we had a diaper in there more than a few hours, I began buying these bags to keep around the house as well. Dirty diapers get tied up, then tossed into the diaper pail. Voila! We can walk into my son's room without gagging on the stench. They keep the stink contained until we're ready to empty the pail. Phew!

In the process of opening up the bag I usually tear the bag making it useless. It takes me 3-4 ripped bags before I can successfully open one without ripping it. A couple of minutes have gone by and there is a huge mess!
Do not get these, waste of money.

I made the mistake of not reading carefully through the entire page & didn't realize it was $9.99 for only 3 rolls instead of 36 rolls (I had assumed 36pk meant 36 rolls). If a Target store is available in your area, buy it there, at Target stores it's only $3.96 for the 3 pack. The reason I bought this online at Amazon was because my Target was out of stock. My Albertson's grocery store also carries these for $4.69, which is also cheaper. This was the first time I was not happy with an Amazon purchase...I think the summary description of this should be 3 rolls, not 36pk. It's too misleading. To review the product itself.....we've been using this since the baby was born...they are great for travel so you don't leave a nasty smell in other people's garbage, & if you don't have pets & empty your garbage each day (we do) we use them for home as well instead of a diaper pail. I have been very satisfied with these but will buy them locally and not online...it's cheaper!

(More customer reviews)I bought my Diaper Genie in 1997 when I was pregnant with my first child, and used it again in 1999 when I had my second. I just had my third child and bought two refills, which I realize now don't fit into my Diaper Genie. Although I noticed it said "Diaper Genie XL" on the package, I didn't realize it was a new model, and I didn't know it wouldn't fit the old ones too. I really think they should clearly state this on the front of the package so that people don't get taken for a ride. The new refill canister is only off by a fraction of an inch, which leads me to believe that Playtex did this thinking they would make more money by everybody going out to buy a new Diaper Genie. Instead, I went out and bought a Diaper Champ from Baby Trend. It works just as well as the Diaper Champ at controlling odor, but it's easier to use (one-handed operation) and the biggest plus is that it uses regular bags--no special liners to buy. Ha! Take that, Playtex!

(More customer reviews)The photo on Amazon of the "Sophia" baby wipes case is amazing... not so much in person. For the hefty $30 price tag for a travel diaper wipes case, I would expect a little more care in the design. Visible hot glue on the seams. Tsk tsk. I will still be using it, the pattern is just as cute as pictured, but this item in my opinion should be priced way lower. I did think the case being full of wipes was a nice gesture, although I won't be using them due to sanitary reasons. I'd be more apt to recommend if the $$$ was less.

With this dispenser the plastic bags are well folded, easy to find, and the lavender scent on the bag lasts longer.
