If you are trying to fit 2-3 t-shirts and a laptop in this bag, you are out of luck. It will fit but you will look like you have a puffer fish attached to your waist. This is just another book bag with crappy capacity. $100 down the drain.

Micralite Toro Active Stroller Review

Micralite Toro Active Stroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Words can't describe how happy I am that we bought the Toro over other strollers like the Bugaboo. We've discovered with time (our son is now eight months old) just how ideal the Toro has been for us.
Having said that, though, I don't think it's ideal for everyone, and in retrospect we were lucky to get the stroller that best fit our needs: parents who live in a small, city apartment with a tiny elevator, who navigate lots of pubic transportation, and who need to open, close, and store the stroller in any number of places fast and on the go.
PROS:
- Folds flat with nothing in the basket and locks into standing position and stands on it's own that way. Ideal for small spaces, hallways, or public places, like restaurants.
- Easy three-seat position for baby who wants to sit up or lie flat (after four months)
- Can buy attachment for car seats by Graco or another company (forget which one).
- Front wheels are wider and pull in when folding stroller. This allows us to get through narrow openings without taking our child out to fold up the stroller a bit. This has saved us, as our apartment elevator us so narrow no other stroller fits through it (we tried several). The stroller wasn't meant for this, but it works well to partially fold for narrow spaces.
- Hot colors and even hotter animal print liners
- Rides great
- Easy up and down stairs with the inflated tires -- not like a McClaren which is tough on this mom's arms.
- Awesome, awesome, awesome ease of folding (practically one-handed) and getting into/out of cars, etc.
CONS:
- Can't turn seat around to face you (though the carseat attachments are meant for facing you. But the regular seat for older babies is not).
- Handlebar is comfy, but it'd be nice if designed for another way to hold them (from underneath and not just over top)
- You can't put much weight on the back, or stroller tips over. The company is clear about this, but it's still a pain. Having said this, I've never found it to be that big of a deal. It never tips over with the baby in it, even if I have a full diaper bag and several shopping bags hanging there. And when I pull baby out, I make sure that only the diaper bag is hanging on the back and that the seat is lowered to recline, in which case it never tips over empty, either.
- Basket could be better, but it's not bad at all. I have no trouble getting shopping bags, purses, etc. in one side and down into it.
- no parasol attachment. This stinks, because the sun shade is very short. I bought one of those extra long ones to compensate, which doesn't attach well, but it works. I hope the company is working on this.
- The cross bar does not open or detach -- an annoyance when getting baby in or out, but not too big of one. Just a silly design.
Basically, the stroller has been a dream for us. We borrowed a friend's Bugaboo before getting our Toro, and we found it a nightmare to manage in the city and small apartment, especially getting in and out of cars -- ugh! Such a bear to break down each time. The Toro has been ideal for our needs, but I can't say it would be so for everyone. If you have space to store a bigger stroller and don't need to fold it up often, condsider other strollers. However, if you're on the go and need something cruise-y, cool, and easy to handle, this is your stroller.
Last note: If you get this stroller, the absolute best diaper bag is one of Fleurville's narrower bags -- it hooks perfectly onto the handlebars with its O-hooks. You can't cram it full of a million things, but it easily fits two bottles, food, dipes, wipes, formula or small pump, burp cloth and keys, ipod, etc. I have another larger diaper bag for big trips or days out, but this one is perfect for strolling.

Uppababy 2010 Vista Stroller Mica Silver with a Cup Holder Review

Uppababy 2010 Vista Stroller Mica Silver with a Cup Holder
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I did a lot of research on strollers before settling on this one. It has it's drawbacks but the following reasons are why it is the perfect stroller for me!
1) Flat seat bottom, upright seat back. My daughter likes to look out at the world! We tried her in the City Select and B-Ready, but those hunched her over. The Baby Jogger had tried to improve this problem on their strollers (I had the Cith Classic) but their attempt with the City Select (a little piece of velcro that only lifts the knees up higher), in my opinion, was a dismal failure. The Vista's seat also reclines to nearly flat but retains it's L shape. This hasn't been a problem for us.
2) It's super light! It's made from aircraft aluminum alloy, so even though it's light, it feels very sturdy. When I compared it's weight with the other strollers mentioned above, I could immediately feel the difference. The others are heavier and harder to manuever. The Vista just seems to float along! My husband likes to push it, one handed, in circles around me as we walk.
3) Great add on features! I've already got the carseat adapter, rumbleseat, rumbleseat rain fly and the piggyback. We are expecting our second before the end of the year and I love that I can make it a double so easily! We'll start out with the carseat and the rumbleseat. Then we can take off both and use the piggyback and the toddler seat! (The piggyback is a standing platform, and the rumbleseat is a second seat which turns the stroller into a double). If we end up with 3 children, we could even turn this into a triple stroller by using the toddler seat, the rumbleseat, and the piggyback! WOW! Of course, it'll all depend upon their ages and capabilities.
I do want to address the rumbleseat, and it's benefits, as it is an important feature for me. This is a taller stroller so the rumbleseat is not situated so close to the ground. I put my daughter in the second seats of several other strollers (Vibe, City Select, B-Ready) and my concert was her grabbing the back wheels (regardless of it having a silly little fender - I'm positive she could reach around that!), or getting splashed by puddles we went through. Also, she's not walking yet, so I'd have to stoop down, put her in, and buckle her in. With the Vista, she's much higher off of the ground, and out of "wheel reach". Also, her feet go on the rumble seat foot rest, which is in the basket, but the basket is so huge, and is seperated by a bar, that there is a whole front side that is accessible to me.
4) Great standard features! I love the push on - push off brake. It never felt right to flip the brake off with the top of my foot. It comes with the bassinet, which I'm told fits into standard moses basket frames! The toddler seat and rumbleseat are so easy to click on and off, even my husband figured it out on his own! (The sales lady showed me.) Folding it is a bit tricky and I do recommend practicing that in the store if you can, or watching it on a Youtube video. It's really easy once you have the feel for it, but definitely not a "no-brainer". We are tall people (5'10" and 6'1" so we love the handle bar, which you can adjust one handed, with the push of a button! You won't be kicking wheels or baskets on this stroller! Also it's very compact. It fits right into the trunk of our Honda Civic so you shouldn't need to worry about fit if you have a small or smaller car.
I love this stroller! It's great, we've gotten lots of compliments on it's looks (that's just icing on the cake). My main concern was that it didn't have as many configurations as the City Select, but in the end, I decided that the configurations it does have will work for me! The features on the Vista, for me, really outweigh the features on the all of the other strollers I researched and handled.
Happy Stroller Shopping and I hope this helps!

Baby Jogger 2011 City Mini Single Stroller Review

Baby Jogger 2011 City Mini Single Stroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The product description here on Amazon does not state this, but the stroller I received is the new and improved 2011 model which was just released in October 2010. There are several buying choices for various vendors, but I purchased mine directly from Amazon even though it was a couple of extra dollars. The new strollers will have a large blue sticker on the box stating that it is a 2011 model.
Previous model years of the Baby Jogger City Mini had a "slouchy" seat, that many people described as hammock-like for the child sitting in it. The 2011 version of the stroller has a PE board inserted in the seat back, which corrects this problem. The seat back is now firm and doesn't sink in. It seems very comfortable for my 6 month old baby. If you have an older model of the stroller, you can purchase a PE board directly from the Baby Jogger company for approximately $10 or $15. It slides into the seat back, and you can not see it once it is installed.
Another improvement in the 2011 model is the addition of velcro straps that enable you to make the seat slightly more upright if you choose to do so. When attached, they pull the seat back about 2 inches forward which enables the child to sit up straighter. Personally, I am not impressed with this new feature. The straps are a bit of a pain to fasten, and you have to detach them before folding the stroller.
I really like the features of this stroller. The best thing is the easy fold. It is simple to do with one hand, while holding your child in the other arm. Basically, you grab a fabric handle on the seat and give it a slight tug. The stroller collapses very easily, and with no hassle. There are some good videos on YouTube that show the folding process. The folding mechanism is something you need to see to fully appreciate. I previously had a Maclaren Quest stroller, which had a much more complicated fold that I needed both hands to do.
The unfold is almost as easy. I can hold my child in one arm, and pull the stroller out of the back of my SUV and unfold it with the other arm.
The sunshade on this stroller is enormous. You can choose to pull it out either 1/3, 2/3, or the full way out. There are also 2 clear viewing windows on the sunshade which enable you to see your child. When not in use, there is a fabric flap that has velcro to hold it in place.
The storage basket underneath is a decent size, but because of the structure of the stroller, it is difficult to fit a diaper bag in. You can easily tuck in smaller items like blankets, toys, a jacket, small bags, etc though. Even though the manufacturer does not recommend it, I hang my large diaper bag from the handle. The stroller is VERY stable, and it does not tip backward. With the Maclaren Quest that I previously owned, a small diaper bag made it tip over.
On the back of the seat, there is a large mesh pocket that runs almost the full length of the seat. It has elastic on top, so things don't easily fall out. You can put jackets or blankets in this pocket, as long as you fold or roll them first. Small toys fit well too.
My only complaint with this stroller is that it does not have a drink holder. Baby Jogger sells a parent console for the handle, but it is rather pricey. I purchased a Sunshine Kids Stroller Accessory Buggy Buddy for less than $10 here on Amazon, which solves that problem for a nominal cost. Baby Jogger sells accessories for the stroller such as a child snack tray, or a bumper bar. There is also a car seat adapter available for purchase.
Update: We have had this stroller for about 3 months now, and I like it better than ever. We recently took a 9 day cruise with our baby, and brought the stroller along. The large sunshade in the tropical sun was invaluable. My daughter was able to easily nap with the almost flat recline. The easy fold/unfold came in especially handy with getting on and off trolleys, tour buses, water taxis, etc. It definitely is not a good stroller to try to push on a sandy beach, but I wasn't expecting it to be. :)
I also purchased the Baby Jogger Adjustable Belly Bar to attach to the front of the stroller. My baby likes to sit up and hold onto the belly bar. I also attach small toys to the bar using these simple toy straps, Baby Buddy Secure-A-Toy, Black/White.

Jeep Side By Side Stroller Weather Shield Review

Jeep Side By Side Stroller Weather Shield
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have had many strollers each with their own rain cover and this is by far the worst I've ever had. After putting on (before moving) the cover doesn't cover the children in the stroller besides their heads, they had wet legs. Once we started strolling the thing kept falling, sliding, slipping off and I had to hold it on and tuck edges under my purse (which then got wet) to keep it from falling off. If the kids moved at all, forget it. Then a gust of wind came and it was all over. Would not recommend it.

Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller Review

Baby Jogger City Elite Double Stroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After reading a ton of reviews on this stroller we decided to get one. The main complaints I saw listed were 1) it's heavy and 2) it's hard to get to the storage below - and I have to say both are correct. I'm 5'11 and in pretty good shape and I find this stroller extremely heavy. But then it's not like you carry it around, so overall I don't find this a huge drawback. I would say if you're a small person and you're trying to get this into and out of a car trunk you might have some trouble. As for the storage basket, it's next to impossible to get into. If you're putting individual items in it's not too bad, but there's no way I can get my diaper bag into it (and since the handle has a tag that specifically says "do not hang anything from handle" you're stuck carrying it). But otherwise this stroller is a dream. It's VERY easy to steer, fits through doors easily, folds up SO easily (search you tube for a demo video, it's amazing), very comfortable for my girls to sit in (a 4 month old and 2 year old), and does have more storage on pockets behind the seat and on the handle bar that are easy to get to (still can't do anything with the diaper bag though). What sold me on this stroller was how easy it is to fold, and now that I have it in person I love it even more. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Phil & Teds Vibe Travel Bag Review

Phil and Teds Vibe Travel Bag
Average Reviews:

I have flown on Qantas and American Airlines a few times with this bag, and I wish it was bigger and stronger. The zipper has ripped on it, and because it is so long it is impossible to fix. The only reason I didn't have to buy myself a new bag was that when the baggage services at JFK airport refused to fix it, I flew back to Sydney with a broken bag and had it repaired by Sydney airport, which has much better customer service. While it seems nice to be able to wheel the bag with its own wheels, the wheels do not fit in the bag when you go to check it, nor do any additional accessories (I put in my suitcase the rain and sun covers, 2 side wheels, mudguards as they seem fragile, and drink holder; and in the bag the stroller, double seat, awning and front wheel). It's terribly snug around the stroller, which is why the zipper got damaged.

UPPAbaby Vista Stroller With a Cup Holder Denny Red Review

UPPAbaby Vista Stroller With a Cup Holder Denny Red
Average Reviews:

Please ignore the last review on this stroller. The amount of accessories that come included with this stroller is great (3 covers- 2 rain & 1 bug + bassinet) if compared to the competitor (Bugaboo). The value of this stroller for the price tops any other on the market. (Trust me I researched MANY different ones & tested them in the stores (my husband compared stroller buying to buying a car!!))
The quality of the stroller is wonderful as well (frame, fabrics & mechanics). We have put many miles on it and it has stood up to all of it! The steering of it compared to other strollers is wonderful. It can be steered with one hand effortlessly and can be collapsed on a dime. It also is a beautiful classy looking stroller.
Also, our son also slept in the bassinet in our bedroom for the first 3 months- saving us money on having to buy an "in-door bassinet!!"
The stroller in GREAT! So great that I am about to purchase the G-Lux UPPAbaby for our trip to Paris!

Mutsy 4Rider Light Stroller Review

Mutsy 4Rider Light Stroller
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
From the moment I saw this stroller I wanted it. It was a little difficult though because I could not try it out before I bought it. I finally was convinced I would not be happy without it and found a good deal on myStrollers.com I got the really nice lime green color and I am very pleased. I've had it for 4 months now and I use it for everything, I even put my baby moses basket on the seat laying flat so that it was easy to move around the house and made my baby sleep inside of it until she was 2 months. Because it can recline flat I took out the straps when my daughter was a newborn and sort of used it as a bassinet. Now I am happy I didn't waist my money on the bassinet that you can purchase as an extra. I also have the car seat adapter which makes it so easy to snap from car to stroller.
Pros:
~Easy to snap seats in and out
~Great maneuver ability
~Flat recline
~Easy to store it standing up while collapsed and can be pulled while collapsed
~Handles adjust up or down depending on your height
~Basket size is good.(My diaper bag is pretty big and it can fit in there. But I usually attach the bag to the stroller handle bar so this gives me more room for other things underneath.)
~Everything can be taken off to make it smaller when loading in the car (wheels, seat, canopy etc.). (My husband drives a sports car so you can imagine the lack of trunk space, but it still fits.)
~Very stylish
~There are many add-ons you can by for this stroller, so it can grow with you child
~In 2010 they came out with double seats you can attach to the frame if you needed a double stroller. Click here to see: http://www.pishposhbaby.com/mutsy-4rider-dual-seat.html?gdftrk=gdfV2560_a_7c660_a_7c2359_a_7cmutsy_d_4rider_d_duo_d_seat
(I prefer to put Wishes than Cons because they are not that huge to me.)
Wishes:
~The canopy could be a little bigger for sun coverage and have the option to pull back all the way to make it easier for baby to look to the sides and see out. Making the sides with a see through screen would be a better option
~The collapsing is a little different but what do you expect from a high end stroller. Just remember that the hooks on the bottom of the seat have to be in front of the thin crossbars in order for it to collapse properly. I had trouble with this but I finally figured it out.
Overall I think it is a great stroller, definitely would buy again and recommend it to friends. I don't think it's too heavy or bulky like others have said but it's a matter of opinion.
Check out my pictures on this page.
