(More customer reviews)This travel bag is okay. It does a great job of protecting your stroller from airport baggage persons throwing your stroller around. We traveled from AR to FL and used our Baby Jogger stroller in the airport and checked it at teh gate. The stroller is very easy to take apart and put back together. The travel bag with the stroller in it is heavy and akward to carry. That is why I am only giving it 3 stars. I think Baby jogger needs to come up with a better design for the travel bag to make it easier to carry the stroller around in. I think if they added wheels to the travel bag, it would make things much easier.

Mountain Buggy Duo Travel Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I just received this bag, and although I do not have a Mountain Buggy Duo - I do have a BOB Duallie Revolution and it FITS in this bag (wheels off the stroller but in the bag).
The bag itself has two straps for securing the stroller as well as several interior pockets and an exterior pocket. Great for miscellaneous items like a tire pump, etc. It is well constructed and has a nice place for an ID card.

(More customer reviews)We just got back from a trip that included four separate flights (2 to get there, 2 to get back). This bag was a life saver. I didn't know until shortly before the trip what we should do with the car seat, so when I found out we had to check it as checked luggage (we didn't have a ticket for our 15 month old or he could have counted it as his carry-on), I started looking for a solution.
This bag was reasonably priced, roomy, and durable. We put his car seat, portable booster seat, and diaper bag filled with diapers and books into it. With all this inside the bag ended up being kind of heavy because it is so roomy, but the strap held up well - no sign of the stitching or the bag itself starting to tear. Because of the weight, wheels might have been nice, but it was our choice to fill it so full, and the bag was only $15. The airplane luggage handling isn't always so kind to wheels anyway. I saw the ones with wheels, opted for the cheaper version without wheels, and I'm not sorry. If you have a family's worth of luggage, often you rent a cart at the airport anyway.
I would like to note that the pictures make it look like there is some sort of rigidity to the back and maybe some of the sides of the bag, but there isn't. It is just a heavy weight coated nylon or something, like a good duffel bag.
So... good value for the price - I highly recommend if you don't do a ton of traveling with kids! For one thing, once they get older you use their seat on the plane and there are other solutions for transporting it (strapping their seat to your carry-on, for example). That is a big reason why we opted for a lower-cost item when you have to buy so much other stuff the first few years that you only use for a short while. I was very pleased to find this product!

(More customer reviews)I bought this bag because I was travelling alone with our 5 month old son and I wanted to have the stroller in the airport (3 flights...). After the first flight, it was already torn and by the end of the day it had 4 tears in it, my stroller handle was slightly damaged and I am looking into another option for getting home. I can see how for an umbrella stroller, this idea may be a good option, but I am travelling with a BOB revolution and the stroller is too much for such wimpy fabric. It really needs to be a better quality fabric and have some structure to it, in order to put up with the rigors of airline travel. My decision was based on price and convience. It was convient enough, but it's clear that you get what you pay for.

(More customer reviews)I have flown on Qantas and American Airlines a few times with this bag, and I wish it was bigger and stronger. The zipper has ripped on it, and because it is so long it is impossible to fix. The only reason I didn't have to buy myself a new bag was that when the baggage services at JFK airport refused to fix it, I flew back to Sydney with a broken bag and had it repaired by Sydney airport, which has much better customer service. While it seems nice to be able to wheel the bag with its own wheels, the wheels do not fit in the bag when you go to check it, nor do any additional accessories (I put in my suitcase the rain and sun covers, 2 side wheels, mudguards as they seem fragile, and drink holder; and in the bag the stroller, double seat, awning and front wheel). It's terribly snug around the stroller, which is why the zipper got damaged.

Brica Car Seat Travel Tote, Gray Review

(More customer reviews)This inexpensive tote protected my Britax carseat well during recent flights my son. However, before purchasing, you should know a few things that make it less than ideal. I would recommend this item to parents who fly infrequently and don't want to buy the Gogo Babyz Travelmate because of its cost.
1) If your carseat is huge and clunky, the tote won't change that. The tote is simply a bag to protect the carseat. My husband wore our carseat inside the tote as a backpack and it was so huge that when he turned around a few times, he almost hit people standing near-by. The handles are okay, but imagine they are the same height as your seat so the tote isn't very ergonomic to pull because the handles are lower than a typical carry-on suitcase. Also, I tried pulling the tote and found myself pulling the side without wheels and I caused a tear.
2) Security takes more time. We gate checked our seat which meant we had to bring it with us through security. We also had our stroller (no extra cost), carry-on bags and our diaper bag (also free with lap child). Security made us take our carseat out of the tote and because our Britax is so huge, this took some extra time to take it out and put it back in before our flights. It would have been too hard without my husband there to help with all the bags and deal with the carseat.
3) The material is flimsy. After one trip, we already have a tear at the bottom and won't use it for our next trip unless duck-tape will "fix" it.
While at the airport, I saw a mom with the Gogo Babyz Travelmate and she told me that she loved it so much. She was traveling alone and seemed to be doing alright. I don't fly very often so being a little annoyed with our big tote was inconvenient, but doable and not worth $70.

wow, orders and three failures. This was the third time I went with a seller on Amazon for price reasons and was let down. The seller claims that the wrong item was pictured, which means the wrong description was written and price and model number listed. Sounds to me like the seller was regretting the price offering and oh yeah did I mention that much like the last time it took nearly a month to get a refund for a falsley advertised item and they wanted me to pay for the shipping to return their mistake.
Amazon continues to show that their growth and profit were put above their concern for their customers.
I bought elswhere for $4.00 more and thy expedited the shipping and saved our travel plans. Thank goodness for businesses that still realize the importance of customer service and relationship building. Amazon only wants your money.

Okay for gate checking (marginally better than just folding unprotected for a gate check). Would work fine to protect your stroller if this is just used in the trunk of your car though. The padded ones work better.
