(More customer reviews)I got this lunchbag for my 5-year-old son and we were both so thrilled with it! The monster design is perfect for a kindergartener; not too "little kid" but still innocently scary. The bag itself is very well made and sturdy. I can fit in a large LunchBots, sandwich, and cooler pack with room to spare. I plan on getting the matching accessories (sandwich pack, and 2 snack packs) to go with it, and getting a set for my daughter, too. Okay, and maybe myself!

Skip Hop Zoo Pack Little Kid Backpack Review

(More customer reviews)This backpack is so cute I can hardly stand it. But be warned that it is definitely a backpack made for toddlers, not really for school-age children. I use it mainly to cart around my 2 year-old son's toys and books in my car in case I need to keep him entertained somewhere but there is not a whole lot of room in the backpack.

Dabbawalla Eco-Friendly Lunch Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this lunch bag for over 6 months and it's been great. I wasn't happy when I first received it in the mail because there was an awful odor. I washed it a dozen times and aired it out but it was probably a month before the smell really went away. I did a lot of research and wanted something made of safe materials. It was surprisingly hard to find lunch bags that were cute, not made of vinyl or lead, and the right size. So, I was quite happy to find this one. The monkey is as cute as in the picture. It's also a good size with a mesh pocket inside for sippy or straw cup and another mesh pouch for utensils, etc. It's machine washable which is a big plus. It's held up very well and still looks new. I would recommend this lunch bag but advise to purchase in advance in case it comes straight from the factory and still has an odor. (I don't think all of them will smell because I saw one in a store after I purchased mine and it had no odor at all.)

Sugar Booger Classic Lunch Sack Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this lunch bag for my daughter and I thought it was adorable, but after two weeks of use mold grew between the lining of the bag. I was washing the bag out daily with a paper towel and 7th generation cleaning spray. I contacted the company and they said I should only have used a dry cloth because the care instructions say "wipe clean". Their customer service was very poor and they basically said I ruined the bag because I used liquid to clean it. So if you want a bag that you can keep clean and sanitarty this isn't the one!

Fleurville Lunch Buddy Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased the olive/camo version for my preschooler, to replace another lunchbox. I wanted a basic lunch bag that was PVC free. This is PVC free, but it had a very strong vinyl odor when I received it. I'm not sure if there is some sort of chemical or plastic coating in the interior or what, but I had to outgas (and rinse) the bag in our garage for 4 days before I felt comfortable using it as a lunch bag. It is a small bag; it fits my son's Eco Lunchbox, a small apple and Foogo straw sippy, but not much else. I do really appreciate the outer compartment and the fact there is a shoulder strap. However, the strange odor combined with the smallness of this bag make it difficult to recommend without reservations. Probably best for younger kids (preschool through 3rd grade). I would also like Fleurville to provide reassurance that the bag is lead and phthalate free too.

Sugarbooger Classic Lunch Sack Review

(More customer reviews)We got 2 of these for our twins b/c we loved the patterns, size, and price. However, within a few weeks of using them, they got gross brown mold between the liner and the outside. You can't clean it, so the bag gets permanently ruined. We tried hard to keep them clean and dry, but the mold quickly grew over all the seams and has spread to over half of the bags, so we have to throw them out. These bags would probably be fine if you only used dry goods in them, but any kind of moisture (like from an ice pack, leaky container, or condensation from a bottle) will ruin them, even if you try to keep them dry between uses.
We are pretty disappointed and won't be buying anything from Sugarbooger anytime soon.
